Trevor McLaughlin
Trevor McLaughlin is a wireless industry veteran with 30+ years of leadership and technical expertise across the telecommunications world—including roles at T-Mobile, Ericsson, Samsung, Dell, and Meta. He currently serves as Board Chair and President of the Open Device Alliance, an industry body driving collaboration to advance independent private 4G/5G network connectivity, and leads networkfx, which focuses on private network enablement and deployment.
His career spans wireless deployments, network design, and private network strategy, including work on private LTE and international private 5G as a Technical Project Manager at Meta. Trevor brings both deep sector knowledge and a healthy dose of cold realism to the conversation on the future of connectivity — from satellite-to-cell technology and enterprise private networks to the real difference between 4G and 5G, and how these shifts may reshape how we connect.
